To operate our website, we partner with Cloudflare (CDN and security), DigitalOcean (hosting), and Fathom Analytics (web traffic analysis). Aside from the number of visits to our website, no data is collected.
When you visit our social media pages
Like any social media user, we can see who is subscribed to our Meilleur Monde pages and how users interact with our posts. Specifically, we have access to subscribers' first and last names and profiles, likes, comments, shares, and the number of times a post is viewed (on Twitter and LinkedIn).
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them, although they are very long!
When you apply to Meilleur Monde
Applying to Meilleur Monde for a job usually involves providing a resume and cover letter, which may include your name, address, phone number, email address, and other personal information.
We need this information to:
- Identify you
- Verify that your profile matches the required profile
- Conduct a criminal background check
- Communicate with you as part of the recruitment process
- Hire you, if applicable
We store your information in our CRM (Google) to contact you again, if necessary. This CRM is accessible only to Meilleur Monde members. We will not disclose your information to anyone.
When you're recruited for Meilleur Monde projects
Generally, our projects with our clients involve recruiting their users to better understand their realities, or to include them in the design process we conduct for the project. To do this, we obtain personal information such as the person's name, email address, and phone number.
We need this information to:
- Contact you regarding recruitment
- Send you logistical details such as a meeting place, dates, etc.
- Answer any questions you may have
During the project, this data is stored in a file Google that is private (accessible only to Meilleur Monde employees). When the project ends, this file is destroyed. If we want to keep your personal information after a project, we will ask if you agree to let us keep it in our CRM.
We take the following measures to keep your personal information secure.
- Our electronic devices are password-protected.
- We have developed an information security policy that all our employees must comply with.
- We sign confidentiality agreements with our subcontractors.
