User interviews
Interviews were conducted with 8 parents of newly arrived families, mostly in their homes. 2 interviews were conducted with community representatives, who had a lot to say on the subject and had both advice and rich ideas to offer.
Understanding the reality of families newly arrived in Montreal and adapting the services offered at Espace Jeunes to better meet the needs of these users
Interviews were conducted with 8 parents of newly arrived families, mostly in their homes. 2 interviews were conducted with community representatives, who had a lot to say on the subject and had both advice and rich ideas to offer.
A co-design workshop was conducted to develop solutions informed by user interview insights. This workshop brought together external and internal BAnQ stakeholders, and cards describing concrete issues were the basis for developing solutions.
To support the recommendations (e.g., demystifying the Grande Bibliothèque to encourage people to visit), service concepts were developed in the form of storyboards. These concepts were rooted in both user research and the results of the co-design workshop.
